Guide Dogs Hackathon
Every day 250 people in the UK start to lose their sight. There are currently around 360,000 people registered blind or partially sighted in the UK.
The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association are looking at how they can create a Dog Flow system. A system to allow them to monitor objectively how a dog is progressing through its training and how it is progressing through its life as a guide dog.
Guide Dogs need your help to come up with your ideas and approaches, so please sign up today!
When will it be?
The Hackathon will take place in Central London in early 2020. (Exact details will be shared via email once registrations are finalised).
How long will it be?
One day – so possibly one to take under a CSR Charity Day allowance?
We’ll provide documentation so you can add it to your CV or submit it for a Charity Day.
What will it focus on?
Key challenges and issues presented by Guide Dogs
What will I need to do?
Work with like-minded teams to come up with ideas and basic working prototypes to present to a judging panel at the end of the day.
We’ll provide the problem, panel, prizes & pizza!
